Under the direction of Mr Colin Putz, CPA Studios is now recognised as one of the leading academies for the Performing Arts in the UK today. Starting from humble beginnings back in 1984, the then 'Colin’s Stage School' operated from draughty rented halls; training children with the basic skills for the performing arts industry.
In 1998 Colin’s Performing Arts Limited was formed by Directors Colin Putz (Principal) and Keith Taylor (Finance). In 1999 they moved the company to its own specially designed studios and administration offices situated on London’s eastern border within the county of Essex. In March 2011 we were granted charity status with the view of advancing the education of the Performing Arts. With the new Charity Status came a new branding "CPA Studios" which incorporates CPA School and CPA College.
With a strong belief that the students need to excel in all the artistic disciplines in order to become a triple threat performer, the Principal has recruited a team of the best tutors, choreographers, directors and musical directors available whose commitment to driving the students towards their own personal potential is proving to be a key to the School's success.
CPA is proud to have been awarded Recognised School Status by the Council for Dance Education and Training. Further information relating to Recognised Schools can be found at cdet.org.uk.
