Head of School – Jazz & Musical Theatre Tutor

Kevin started his dance training at the age of 17 at CPA in Romford on the 3 year Musical theatre course.

Throughout his college life he worked professionally in Pantomimes such as Cinderella in Crawley and Aladdin in Woking. He also danced for the European launch of Sony Playstation II as well as many trade and fashion shows including Fashion Ikon in Manchester and Salon International (London), Reebok, Nike and BMA.

Kevin has been associated with CPA School since 2009 where he joined the dance faculty. In 2011 he commenced a full-time position at the studios as the school administrator and head of the dance faculty.

From 2014-2016 Kevin become Head Booker and second in command for the UK’s No.1  professional dance agency LoveRudeye.

2016 saw Kevin return to CPA School as the Head of School and continues to nurture and inspire the students whilst delivering a course that consistently produces multi skilled performers, ready to engage in full time professional training and gain professional employment.

As a performer Kevin’s credits include – Assistant Dance Captain/Swing/Ensemble in Grease at the Piccadilly Theatre, London, Ensemble and U/S Tyrone in FAME (Dutch Tour), Ensemble in FAME (European Tour), Dancer – Sonia (Astoria, London), Dancer – Clea (UK Promotional  & TV appearances), Dancer – Gina G (UK Promo Tour) Dancer on Charlotte Church Show and Blue Peter Christmas Special. Louis in Beauty and The Beast (Telford), Cecco in Peter Pan (Broxbourne) He can also be seen keeping fit with Denise van Outen in her Pure Dance Workout DVD.

Choreographic Credits include: Fame, Dutch Tour-Assistant Choreographer; Aiutmarkt 2007, National Dutch Television;  Peter Pan & Aladdin, Chesterfield; Cinderella, Catford;  Peter Pan, Broxbourne; Jack and the Beanstalk, Catford ; Beauty and The Beast, Telford; Gina G’s – Tonight’s The Night, Astoria in London; Too Good – Promo Video; Slice O’Minnelle at the Apollo Theatre in London’s “West End” as well as trade shows for Reebok and Salon International.

Dean Ambrose

Jazz Tutor

Dean started his training with CPA School back in 2009 at the age of 12. Dean then joined the college at CPA Studios on the full time, 3 year professional Musical Theatre Diploma course, graduating in July 2017.

Dean is a very successful gymnast and before joining CPA, achieved 3rd place in the UK for tumbling. Dean has represented London on many occasions in the National Gymnastic competition.

Theatre credits include: Bill Bailey & Cover Mungojerrie in CATS international tour, Ensemble in Oliver! At the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane.


Upper Infant Tutor and Junior Tap & Stage Tutor

Sara Began dancing at 4 years old, and trained at CPA since she was 9 years old. From leaving school Sara went on to do an apprenticeship in hairdressing whilst continuing to train for her B.A.T.D teachers exams.


Sara has been teaching the infant and junior section of the school Tap and Stage for 16 years.


Senior Contemporary Tutor

Nick trained professionally at Bird College and graduated with a first class honours degree. 

He has worked extensively in musical theatre both in the West End and on tour. Theatre Credits Include: Love Never Dies (Adelphi), Oliver! (Theatre Royal Drury Lane), Chicago (Cambridge Theatre), Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (UK and International Tour) Starlight Express, Fame, We Will Rock You (Dominion Theatre), West Side Story and Cats (New London Theatre). 

Nick has also appeared on television in The Bill for ITV and the Period Drama Byron for BBC 2.  He can be heard on the original cast recording of We Will Rock You.

Nick is also a registered teacher with the R.A.D. and has taught and choreographed for professional colleges throughout London.


Junior & Senior Ballet Tutor

Began training in Romford, Bush Davies Schools and later at Bird College Sidcup.  Gaining Advanced exams and Associate Diploma status in Imperial Ballet.  Worked professionally as a performer from 1982 – 1991. Three years in England, Summer Season and Panto. & then in Europe.  Later becoming principle dancer for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines.

Have been teaching at CPA since 1997.  Entering students for exams and training them in Imperial Ballet technique.

Junior & Senior Ballet Tutor

Georgia completed her professional training at Central School of Ballet graduating with a BA (Hons) Degree in professional dance and performance. During her third year she toured the U.K. with Ballet Central.

Upon graduation Georgia gained contracts to dance with Ballet Companies such as Kayzer Ballet and JSLN Dance Company and danced various soloist roles.

Georgia has also been featured in various Music Videos as a ballet dancer.

Vocal Tutor

Dean trained on the Actor-Musician course at Rose Bruford College of Theatre and Performance and graduated in 2012. Since graduating, Dean has appeared as a performer extensively in musical theatre across the UK and Europe, as well as working as a vocal coach and musical director.

Theatre credits include: Frankie Valli – The Jersey Quartet (Michael Quinn Productions), Lezardo – Disney’s “The Forest of Enchantment” (The Chaparral Theatre, Paris), Arthur – Sword in the Stone: The Musical (Uk Tour), Casanova – Festivals from Afar (Bridlington Spa Theatre), Bobby/Ensemble – Saturday Night Fever (The English Theatre, Frankfurt), Captain Sid –  The Pirate Squad (The Dugdale Theatre, London), Buttons – Cinderella (The Key Theatre, Peterborough) and Britt Craig – Parade (The Unicorn Theatre, London).

Musical directing and vocal coaching credits include: The Rollerboys (Uk Tour), The Pop Factor (UK Tour), as well as many shows for CPA including Schools Out, 25th Annual Spelling Bee, and various Christmas concerts.

Dean loves working with singers of all ages and abilities to help them realise their full potential. Having a performers background combined with a musical and technical background, helps Dean to understand how to develop a performer in all areas of their voice – from technique, to acting through song, to helping singers release their inhibitions and develop the confidence to progress into a performer that excels.


Junior Stage & Senior Tap Tutor

Laura began her training at the tender age of three under the direction of Janet Harris Dance School. She then completed her training at Colin’s Stage School and gained her teachers diploma under the B.A.T.D in Tap and Modern stage at the age of 18 and has been teaching for Colin ever since.

Currently totalling up to 22 years teaching experience and has loved every single minute of it witnessing some truly amazing talent go through the school over the years.

Laura has worked as a school nursery teacher, and in the performing arts industry as a theatrical agent’s associate and then progressed to become the Head of School faculty at CPA Studios. She undertook this role for four and a half years before coming away to have a family and become a full time mummy to two special boys!!

Laura has choreographed for many corporate events, shows and competitions including the B.A.T.D Annual Ball at the Marriott Hotel, Candy Floss children boutique modelling show at the Prince Regent Hotel, Bluewater and Lakeside fashion shows and a Michael Jackson tribute at the hippodrome London to name but a few.


Junior & Senior Drama Tutor

Rose trained at The MTA and graduated in 2014

Theatre credits include: Chava in Fiddler On The Roof (Chichester Festival Theatre); Shannon in A Pacifists Guide to the War on Cancer (National Theatre); Alice in Harry is Asking (Clapham Omnibus); Zoe in Counting the Days (Arcola Theatre); Melissa in Superheroes (Clapham Omnibus); Emma in Connected (Landor & Edinburgh Fringe Festival); Jungle Bungle (Edinburgh Fringe Festival); Ensemble in Cool Rider (Lyric Theatre).

Cover Drama Tutor

Saturday Lower Infant Tutor

Lauren Graduated from CPA Studios in 2014 gaining both the Acting Award and Colin Putz Award. Lauren began her training at the then Colin’s Stage School at the age of 3 under the direction of Colin Putz and immensely enjoyed her training.


Professional Credits include:  ‘Aladdin’ Kenneth More Theatre, ’Dick Wittington’  Kenneth More Theatre , Nurse Reggie ‘Doctor in the House’ the Kenneth More Theatre. She most recently can be seen touring the UK as the female lead in tribute performances of Dirty Dancing and Grease!


Musical Theatre Tutor

Leigh-Anne began her training over 30 years ago at Colin’s Stage School (now known as CPA Studios) followed by the Italia Conti Academy Of Theatre Arts and graduated in 1994 with the “Best Singer Award”.

She has had a busy and varied career, but is taking a break from performing since having her little boy Charlie almost 5 years ago. She took over the role of Head of College at CPA Studios and is delighted to be a part of CPA once again.

Shannon began her training at CPA Studios at the age 3 and then went on to continue at CPA college graduating in 2014 gaining the Commitment to Training Award


Professional credits – ‘Chitty Chitty Bang Bang’ The London Palladium, ‘Summer Spectacular’ West Cliff theatre & various productions and corporate events.

Shannon has been teaching the infants for over 2 years and has not only taught at CPA but at various dance schools across London.
